Tap dance or beatbox? An epic battle
Christopher Erk was just another child taking dance lessons in surburban Connecticut when he found his voice through tap dancing. At age 15, Chris began touring with the international production of Tap Dogs, Australia's most successful dance export that has been touring continuously for 20 years.
He is now a sought-after choreographer and tap dancer based out of New York City.
Chris shares the joys and benefits of dance though Tap Factor, a community engagement program that he founded. It offers clinics that cultivate the universal values of discipline, expression and collaboration. Tap Factor's partnership with Best Buddies, a nonprofit offering programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities has had deep impact on both organizations and the constituents they serve.
