Laura is Executive Director of the Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA), and from 2010 to 2013, was MODA’s Associate Director. MODA was formerly known as the Atlanta International Museum of Art & Design. MODA first open in 1993, and in 2011, MODA moved to its present location across from the HIGH Museum on the ground floor of a building restored and occupied by the architectural firm Perkins+Will. The Museum examines how design affects people's daily lives through exhibitions, K-12 educational outreach, and adult programming. MODA regularly features exhibitions on architecture, industrial and product design, interiors and furniture, graphics, fashion and more.
